Go Play Outside Southern AZ Program Accessibility
Go Play Outside: Southern Arizona Run Club is committed to creating outdoor experiences that are welcoming, inclusive, and as accessible as possible. Our programs, including camping trips, guided hikes, and run club sessions, take place in natural environments that may present varying levels of accessibility. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, and we work intentionally to share information that helps participants make informed decisions about their comfort and safety.

Our Commitment
We strive to:
-
Provide clear, accurate details about the accessibility features of each event location
-
Communicate openly about terrain, elevation, distance, and physical demands
-
Support participants in understanding what to expect before arriving
-
Continually improve our practices to better serve individuals of all abilities
Limitations of Outdoor Environments
-
Because our activities take place on state lands, public parks, and established campsites, we do not have control over the accessibility of these spaces. Features such as trail conditions, restroom accessibility, parking accommodations, and path surfaces may vary widely from site to site.
-
While we cannot modify these environments, we are committed to transparency. For every event we host, we will list all available accessibility features, which may include:
-
Accessible parking
-
Restroom accessibility
-
Paved or compacted paths
-
Trail width and grade
-
Seating or rest areas
-
Lighting conditions
-
Any known barriers or limitations
